Michael Pelczynski is a strategist, economist and music rights expert that has been a pioneering force in evolving the streaming business. As Vice President of Strategy at SoundCloud, Michael had architected, licensed and launched an award winning new economic model and fan-powered business. Continually working on improving the economics of music, Michael had delivered multiyear first-to-market licensing deals with major record labels while conceiving and developing artist-to-fan product tools that enhance the commercial value proposition. Focused on the future state of the industry, Michael has led cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new strategic business opportunities, including new initiatives, partnerships and operational improvements. Through his industry newsletter and consulting agency Forms + Shapes, Michael advises on political and regulatory risk policy, content and technology licensing, corporate and commercial transactions as well as artist development services. Prior to joining SoundCloud, Michael directed rights administration at Warner Music Group, overseeing royalties and reporting across six label divisions. In addition to formal economics background, career in music began as a songwriter, composing for BMG Rights Management and several film productions, notably garnering 2014 A2IM Libera Awards semi-finalist nominations for Album of the Year and Up & Comer.

Pal is a London native who resides at the bleeding edge intersection of music and computer science. Starting as a DJ and producer, his talent and dedication propelled him to prominence. However, his passion for technology led him to explore web development and product management, resulting in notable roles at Blackmarket Records and the BBC. Pal's entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch his own startup, SendMusic, embraced by major labels and artists like Adele. He went on to join TikTok, where he delivered groundbreaking products, including the AI-powered synthesizer, Mawf. Now, as VP of Audio Systems and Music at Pixelynx, he pioneers cutting-edge creator tools at the intersection of music, gaming, and blockchain.

Ben is Lead Music Producer at Laced, a subsidiary of Keywords Studios. Laced are a full-service creative agency specializing in audio and music for video games and moving media. Laced is also proud to be home to a very successful record imprint, releasing a whole host of recognisable soundtracks to vinyl including Doom, Resident Evil, Borderlands and Hotline Miami. As Lead Music Producer, Ben has worked across multiple projects encompassing the music spectrum, including licensing commercial music into games and managing bespoke projects. Having previously worked in music sync at Sony Music Publishing, Ben is passionate about the relationship between music and picture and the effect this has on the consumer. Since starting at Laced, Ben has worked across titles including The Plucky Squire (Devolver), Star Trucker (Raw Fury), as well as trailers for Evil West (Focus) and The Lords Of The Fallen (CI Games). He is also a part-time composer of production music.

Declan McGlynn is a music technology journalist, consultant and content creator. Across his 16 year career he’s worked with the likes of Rolling Stone, DAZED, Google, H&M, Resident Advisor, BBC, Water & Music, Universal Music Group, DJ Mag, Native Instruments, Ableton and many, many more. He also runs a newsletter called Future Filter, focussing on how emerging technology is shaping electronic music.

Prof. Steven Latré, is leading the artificial intelligence research at imec, the R&D hub for nano-electronics and digital technologies. His main expertise focuses on combining sensor technologies and chip design with AI to provide end-to-end solutions in sectors such as health and smart industries. Next to this, he is also a part-time professor at the University of Antwerp. He received a Master of Science degree in computer science from Ghent University, Belgium and a Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering from the same university. Before joining imec, he was leading the IDLab research group at the University of Antwerp, a 100+ research group focusing on wireless networks and machine learning. He is author or co-author of more than 150 papers published in international journals or in the proceedings of international conferences. He is the recipient of the IEEE COMSOC award for best PhD in network and service management 2012, the IEEE COMSOC Young Professional award 2015 and is a recipient of the Laureate award of the Academy of Sciences, Belgium.
